Today there was very little chance that we would get to see a tornado. We thought that we'd possibly get a nice lightning show and maybe some hail, but there was less than a 2% chance of tornadoes. Hey, we'd take whatever we could get!

Well, as it turned out, we technically can't refer to today as a busted chase, since we didn't expect much... but we got nothing at all! We ended up spending the bulk of the day sitting at a truck stop in Hillsboro, TX... and standing... and eating... and playing pretzel poker... and then sitting some more... while waiting for some cells to pop up.

Instead, Mother Nature just laughed at us... and it doesn't look like tomorrow will be any better, either. <groan> We may just end up doing laundry tomorrow. Sounds like fun, eh?
