Thursday, May 5, 2016 @ 0900 CDT: Yesterday we continued our northerly migration, stopping in Amarillo, TX, for the evening... and for a traditional visit to the Big Texan. As has usually been the case over the years, our meals were delicious!

You can see a few of the pictures from the day HERE (https://kingkey.smugmug.com/TornadoChase/Chase-2016/2016May04/).

Today looks like another northerly migration day, with eastern Colorado as our likely landing spot. The outlook for Friday is *extremely* marginal for chase conditions within our range, but even so, we want to be in position just in case! And regardless, that should make things much more manageable for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, when we expect to really get this chase going! (We need to give our overextended bellies a bit of a rest, too... *lol*) I will keep you all updated, as best I can!

Thursday, May 5, 2016 @ 1100 CDT: Leaving Amarillo now... headed for northeastern Colorado. Tomorrow's setup is pretty much nil, but Sat/Sun/Mon look pretty good right now.

Thursday, May 5, 2016 @ 2145 MDT: We called it a day when we got to Lamar, CO. Tomorrow will likely see us moving even farther north, probably to northeastern Colorado. It all depends on what the models look like for storms on Saturday. For the moment, though... GO HEAT!!!
