Today was (once again) a travel day. We left Amarillo after breakfast and busted north, trying to put behind us the bulk of the mileage towards an area of interest for tomorrow (western Nebraska vicinity).

Before leaving Amarillo, however, George made a purchase for the lead vehicle:

Along the way, Rocky reported that he needed to stop because he had lost an antenna. As it turns out, it was because of the makeshift anemometer from Tour 1. He recovered the antenna, but the anemometer was toast.
