Sunday, May 8, 2016 @ 0700 CDT: Yesterday we finally got to chase some storms! It was glorious! Although our initial target area was Wray, CO, we were enticed away by several cells to the southwest, so we headed there to take a look. We got to see some great structure and quite a bit of hail, and even though we missed out on the tornado that ended up happening at Wray (which was, as you all know by now, quite photogenic), we were all excited by the sights that we *did* get to see! All in all, a great day of storm chasing for Cloud 9 Tours! And by looking at the day's forecast, today looks to be even better!

So here's the way it looks --- at the moment --- for today. We're getting a really early start out of Colby, KS, because we have a L-O-N-G drive ahead of us, trying to position ourselves for whatever Mother Nature has in store for us. Wish us luck!
