Yesterday's chase was an absolutely fantastic one! We saw a distant tornado west of Dumas, TX... two funnel clouds passed nearby us while in Stinnett, TX... and we were treated to some of the best storm structure I've ever seen! Even so, today looks to be even better!
Here's a portion of what the SPC says about today:
WHILE THE LOW LEVEL JET SHOWS SOME WEAKENING AND VEERING DURING THE
DAY...DEEP LAYER SHEAR OF 40-50KT IS MORE THAN SUFFICIENT TO SUPPORT
DEVELOPMENT OF INTENSE SUPERCELLS ALONG WITH POTENTIAL FOR VERY
LARGE HAIL AND TORNADOES BY MID/LATE AFTERNOON.
INITIATION WOULD BE MOST LIKELY IN THE BETTER CONVERGENCE ALONG THE
COMBINATION E/W OUTFLOW BOUNDARY...WARM FRONT ACROSS NRN OK AND THEN
SWD THRU WRN OK INTO NWRN TX VICINITY DRY LINE.
DISCRETE SUPERCELLS DURING THE EARLY STAGES OF THE OUTBREAK WILL BE
ASSOCIATED WITH VERY LARGE HAIL AND THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG
TORNADOES. FURTHER S INTO NWRN TX THE CAP WILL BE MORE OF AN ISSUE
BUT WITH SUCH AN UNSTABLE AIR MASS AND FAVORABLE SHEAR
PROFILES...STORMS THAT DO DEVELOP WILL BE NO LESS OF A SEVERE THREAT
AS THOSE IN OK.
I have posted some of yesterday's pictures as well. See them HERE.

Here's a roughed out panorama from yesterday's fantastic mesocyclone that we saw between Dumas and Stinnett, TX.
And now the SPC has come out with the 1630z:
Finally, here's yesterday's travel map.
I'll probably be busy today, so my updates will be sporadic, if at all... so I'll let you know what's happening (or HAS happened) whenever I get the opportunity! Until then................

Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) Tornado Watch #190 just issued for our area... See HERE for more details.

We had a strange day today... less structure than yesterday, but exciting nonetheless! One funnel started to drop near us as we were trying to outrun the hail and rain core east of Kingfisher, OK, and then later we were caught in the circulation of a rain-wrapped cell, which was most likely a tornado that was just touching down. Needless to say, that was pretty exciting!
Here's where our travels took us during the course of the day:
