Monday, May 19, 2014 @ 0900 CDT: Yesterday we traveled from Norman, OK to Salina, KS, and then got some KILLER barbecue at Hog Wild. Then we had a sunset photo op. All in all, a good day for getting to know the Tour 2 chasers. You can see a few pictures HERE.
As for today, it looks like we won't have to travel very far for our best chance of storm activity, so that's a good thing. On the downside, it looks like there's not a very good chance for tornadoes (mostly hail, instead), but one never knows what Mother Nature has in store for us!

Monday, May 19, 2014 @ 1200 CDT: After getting some breakfast at the Iron Skillet (and totally blowing the mind of the poor waitress who was working by herself and overwhelmed when 20+ hungry chasers piled in at one time), we have departed Salina and are initially bound for the Kearney, NE vicinity.
