Yesterday's adventure ended up taking us all the way into southeastern New Mexico. It was a long drive that netted us... some lightning. Oh well... We had to give it a shot! Afterwards, we made it back to Lubbock, TX and had dinner at Texas Land & Cattle. Mmmmmmmm... Steak...

Here's yesterday's travel map (all 569 miles of it... WOOF!):

But now we have a couple of days that look really good... especially tomorrow! Take a look:

Finally, I have uploaded a few pictures from yesterday (see them HERE) and a collection of panorama shots from recent days (see them HERE). Enjoy!

The 1630z update is out, and the area of interest has shifted slightly to the north... so our initial target area is the Dumas, TX vicinity. We're headed out of Lubbock now.

Today was a VERY good day... We saw one tornado, two additional funnel clouds, lots of phenomenal storm structure and then treated ourselves to a steak at the Big Texan! WOW!!! I would go into additional detail, but I need to get some sleep before we head out early in the morning (relatively early, for us), in the hopes that we will have an even better day tomorrow!
