After yesterday's adventures (one close encounter with a possible tornado and another funnel that developed alongside us as we fled hail and rain) and the lack of activity in this vicinity for today, we were given the opportunity to sleep in this morning. BOY, did I take advantage of it! I needed the sleep!

Anyway, here's what things look like for today, tomorrow and Saturday:

6:00 pm CDT

After a travel day, we're now in Salina, KS. Tomorrow will probably be a "touristy" kind of day, and we may move even farther north for a potential chase starting on Saturday in Nebraska and/or the Dakotas. I really hope that we make it into South Dakota, because it's usually a really beautiful area during May.
