Friday, May 10 @ 0915 CDT: Yesterday was a FANTASTIC chase day! No, we didn't see any tornadoes, but we got to experience just about everything else! We saw fantastic structure, got pummeled several times by extremely solid golf-ball-size hailstones (and a few that were even larger) AND were entertained by a great light show (which included a single bolt that hit so near us that we could hear the crackle of it and saw sparks coming off the power lines). What a great day! You can see a few pictures HERE. And to top it off, my headache was much improved, so I was able to enjoy the day much more. Woooohooooo!!!

So today looks to be somewhat marginal, once again, for tornadoes, but it's still possible, farther south in Texas. Hey, there's something to chase, so I can only assume that we'll go for it!
