Monday, May 18, 2015 @ 0910 CDT: Hopefully we can chase something today, though it looks marginal and is quite a distance away from our current position. We will be bugging out of Childress, TX in a little while, possibly busting far to our southwest. Tomorrow looks more promising to me, but I'm crossing my fingers that today will pan out as well.
Monday, May 18, 2015 @ 1350 CDT: We are continuing farther southwest, now going through Brownfield, TX. How far will we go? Only time will tell...
Monday, May 18, 2015 @ 2320 CDT: WOW!!! We saw the most hail I have ever seen (up to 6-8 inch drifts along the roads), astonishing localized flooding and damage caused by either a tornado or some pretty significant straight-line winds. It was an incredible chase day for all of us! Pictures and/or video will have to wait, though, because (a) I am exhausted, and (b) we have to hit the road early tomorrow to get into position for another day of chasing. I'll post pictures as soon as I can process them, though!
