Monday, May 5, 2014 @0900 CDT: As you have probably already seen from my posts yesterday, we had a down day, which means that we had nothing to chase except tourist stuff and restaurants... so that's exactly what we did. We headed for the Lawton, OK vicinity, and went to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. We also had a nice photo opportunity at the top of Mount Scott. (PHOTOS HERE)

Today, I'm not sure what we will be doing initially, but eventually we will have to make our way back to Norman, OK, to pick up (hopefully) John's vehicle, which has been in for some repairs.

Anyway, we're still looking at non-chase weather for today, and likely for tomorrow as well. Wednesday and Thursday are looking better, though, as you can see here:
