Friday, May 24 @0915 CDT: Yesterday was interesting, to say the least... We chased storms from Floydada, TX to Rotan, TX, and got into some INTENSE dust storms, hail, flooding and trees in the road. Several cells were tornado warned, and several tornadoes were reported, but I'm pretty sure they were either landspouts or "sheriffnadoes." Regardless, the conditions made for some interesting photo opportunities! HERE are a few shots.

Today, however, it looks like we will need to move further north for a marginal chance of tornadoes. Where will we end up? You'll just have to wait and see, like the rest of us!

Here's yesterday's travel map:

Friday, May 24 @1100 CDT: Yep. We're headed north... probably into western Kansas. No huge surprise, but it's not a short drive, either.
