Terafab is a joint SpaceX, Testla and Xai semiconductor fabrication factory 

All of these companies owned by Elon Musk are heavily dependent on semiconductor chips.

So two new massive factories in the USA is being built now with a partnership with Intel.

the first of which is being built in Austin on Tesla property will be for fast integrated R and D fabrication and testing.

The second will be a truly massive Semiconductor manufacturing fabrication producing chips for SpaceX orbital data space stations "SpaceX Orbital Data Center System". Also for SpaceX's Starlink LEO space based internet and Starshield LEO military constellations.
