About myself

Born in London UK. I wanted to be a train driver, but then watching the space shots going to the Moon culminating in The Apollo Moon landings, like so many others I was hooked on Space Travel. I was very interested in the British Interplanetary Societies Daedalus Interstellar design. I was able to go and watch 4 space Shuttles take off and my highlight has been taking my Son, who is now studying for a Master in AI, to see the SpaceX Falcon Heavy Maidan Launch and booster landings.

I did not like school and left without O levels (GCSEs), yet I was fascinated by magnets and electronics. I built my own 6502 micro computer as the PC had not come out yet, and my hobby became my job designing the electronics for scientific semiconducting and biological research equipment. I gave up my job to be a sound engineer when I got the offer to go to Hong Kong with a professional singer that I had helped for sometime, from where I traveled the world.

When I returned to the UK I got married and now have 4 grown up children. We are a Christian family.

My job became working on a combination of Trading room systems and Air traffic control simulators that again took me various countries around the world.

I was interested to stand as a christian MP, but this is not what the public wanted in the UK. I have got to know and work with many MPs. I chair private meetings in the UK parliament. I believe debate is very important, but freedom of speech and ideas are being less tolerated. I do not totally agree with this Banned TED talk, but it makes my point.

My current passion is to try and share my insights with my children, and others, by using simple web sites such as AI and the Future and Exosnews for my take on space as well as Irrational as Numbers and Climate Politics, along with many others. I have also taught myself to program AI, and I am also a bit of an Elon Musk fan boy (Forever young).
