Chandrayaan-4

Chandrayaan-4, a lunar sample return from the Moon mission. NET 2028.

The Chandrayaan-4 mission will be executed in two phases

The first phase will use India’s heaviest rocket, the GSLV Mk III to launch three spacecraft modules, Propulsion Module, the Descender Module, and the Ascender Module.

The second phase using a PSLV rocket  to launch two more spacecraft modules, Transfer Module and the Re-entry Module.

As the mission profile includes lunar orbit rendezvous and docking techniques, rather than a direct return of samples to Earth, it would also have applicability for future crewed lunar missions.
