MA/ Mr. Steven, a 205-foot long vessel dedicated to recovering the fairing portion of rockets which protect the spacecraft and reduce drag during flight.

In July 2018 the fairing capture net was quadrupled in size.

September 2018 is looking likely for the first successful capture of a fairing as there are two possible launches from Vandenberg scheduled.

Also a BFR production San Pedro factory is being built to develop and manufacture prototypes and first-generation [BFR/BFS] vessels and develop the manufacturing processes prior to implementing production on a larger scale.
