Teegarden

"Teegarden's star," is a red dwarf star 12.5 light-years from Earth, discovered in 2003. ( RA: +3,386 Dec: –3,747)

At 9 percent of the sun’s mass Teegarden's star is known as an ultra-cool M dwarf, and it emits most of its light in the infrared.

Although it is near Earth it is a dim magnitude 15 and can only be seen through large telescopes.

Two Earth-like planets

The two planets 'B' and 'C' are estimated to be just a bit larger than Earth.

B obits in 4.91 Earth days and C orbits in 11.4

"They are only slightly heavier than Earth and are located in the so-called habitable zone, where water can be present in liquid form." Mathias Zechmeister
