Everything you need to know about our next mission Beresheet2 to the Moon in 2024

Despite 'The Google Lunar X Prize' competition having expired on 31st March 2018 with no winner. SpaceIL, is continuing its mission of landing an unmanned module on the moon – launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 via Spaceflight Industries on the 22nd Feb 2019.

SpaceIL is the ‘official’ Israeli entrant in Google’s Lunar X Prize (GLXP) space race. It’s a nonprofit organization (NPO).

So far, only three world superpowers, the United States, Russia, and China, with their tremendous resources, have achieved controlled lunar landings.
