Space tourism

Roscosmos sent the ‘First space tourist’ was Japanese TV reporter Toyohiro Akiyama in 1990 to the Russian Mir Space Station flying on the Soyuz TM-11 and returning on Soyuz TM-10.

Toyohiro Akiyam a retired Japanese TV journalist and professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design. In December 1990, he spent seven days aboard Mir.

Then British chemist Helen Sharman in 1991 to space after winning a competition in the UK to fly to Mir to become the first British women in space.

Late a company called Space Adventures arrange with Roscosmos to send space tourist to the International Space Station(ISS)

The first to fly was Dennis Tito when he flew to the International Space Station(ISS) in 2001.
