OneWeb

The OneWeb satellite constellation is an initial 650-satellite constellation currently being built out to provide global satellite Internet broadband services to people everywhere and is on track to provide global services starting in 2021.

As from July 2020 OneWeb is now jointly owned by the British Government's National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) and India's Bharti Global Limited(registered in Jersey UK) , Since OneWeb filed for bankruptcy in March 2020 after SoftBank pulled out.

OneWeb have so far launched 6 satellites on 27 February 2019 but they’ll launch 34 more on 6th February 2020 (aiming for 650 by 2021 and potentially 1,980 by a later date).
