Blue-Sky

Objective to look at the near term future with clear Blue Sky optimism.

A New renaissance is coming to Space.

With the advent of Super Heavy reusable rocket launch systems giving cheap access to space within the next five years there is an opportunity like never before to search out new ideas on how to use the opening up of our solar system. Instead of saying this may not happen or will take many more years to come to fruition, let's take the leap that it will happen and soon.

There are two 'new space' private companies currently developing Super Heavy reusable launch systems by 2022 Blue Origin with their 'New Glen' Rocket and SpaceX with its BFR system.

New Glen with 45 tons and BFR 150 tons to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) will allow for up to now unimaginable opportunities as reusability dramatically reduces the cost to space access.

Planning exploration of our solar system can start now in preparation for the first launch opportunities.

Imaging a 100 ton Satellite sent to any planet in the solar system containing swarms of nanosats released around the planet and any moons, the nanosats each having their own suite of instruments on board, some used as surface probes while others in orbits around the planet and others around the moons.

Using nanosats swarms keeps costs low and helps to mitigate the risk of failure, as well as faster development times.

The main Spacecraft will include communications between each nanosat and a high bandwidth link back to Earth.

Using common design for each Planetary spacecraft will allow for many such spacecraft to be built at a relatively affordable cost.
