Flight 13 - CRS4 Dragon ISS mission moved to 20 Sept

The Flight 13 - CRS4 SpaceX's Falcon 9 with the cargo version of Dragon to the International Space Station (ISS) mission has been moved to 20th Sept another extra day from the last target of 19th Sept (The original target was for 6th April 2014)

The Launch window for the Dragon to go to the ISS is tight, the Falcon 9v1.1 will need to launch at 1:16 a.m. CDT (6:16am GMT) on the 20th, otherwise the next chance will be at 12:53 a.m. CDT (5:53am GMT) on Sept. 21.

also include two satellites, SpinSat & Arkyd-3, as part of its secondary payload.

AS well as being the 13th flight of the Falcon 9 rocket this will be sixth Dragon spacecraft and the fourth operational cargo delivery mission to the ISS.

Manned rated Dragon V2

NASA hopes to decide this month (Sept 2014) whether it will continue to support the Manned rated Dragon V2 that is in competition with Boeing's CST-100 crew capsule and Sierra Nevada Corporation's Dream Chaser space plane to launch astronauts to the ISS, SpaceX plan to continue with the Dragon V2 even if NASA does not support it.
