Bharatam

Planet based on Hindu and Sikh mythology. Appears in Books 1 and 6.

Army:

-Mongoose Soldier: Composed of soldiers from the Mongoose Empire. Armed with Shamshir, Mongoose Maces, and Rahasian Shields. Sometimes use recurve bows imported from Ryu 97. Have been known to use Khanda. There is strong evidence that they use L-18 ARs stolen from captured Ishga Sepoys.

-Rajphants: Composed of deadly martial artists from the Rajphant Kingdom. Armed with Khanda, Aara, Chakrams, and Katars.

-Panthidians: Composed of warriors from the Panthidian Kingdoms. Armed with Aruvals, Shamshir, Mongoose Maces, recurve bows from Ryu 97, and Shareeravadi.

-Sepoys: Composed of anyone from Rahasy recruited by the Ishga Expeditionary Force sent to give Weasel and Taftenkhamun safe travel through the land. Armed with Ishga-supplied L-18 ARs.

-Cobra Warriors: Composed of warriors from the Cobra Tribes. Armed with Trishula, Aruvals, Shamshir, Chakrams, and recurve bows from Ryu 97.

-War Elephant: Used by every major ethnic group, these men would ride elephants into battle and attack with long pikes, spears, bows, or L-18 ARs (in the case of the Mongoose Empire).

Weapons:

-Shamshir: Similar to the scimitar from Awal Kabab.

-Khanda: Long sword with extremely sharp sides and a blunt tip. Used exclusively for cutting.

-Mongoose Mace: An iron club with sharpened flanges. Made for caving in people's skulls.

-Rahasian Shield: Circular shield made of wood or iron.

-Aara: Hybrid whip/sword invented by the Rajphants. Only the Rajphants are skilled enough in their use not to injure themselves with these. Not used as much for killing as for weakening the enemy.

-Chakram: An extremely thin, razor-sharp, halo-shaped iron throwing disc. Thrown like frisbees at enemy necks to decapitate them.

-Katar: Iron dagger attached to the knuckle. Allows the user to literally punch holes in people. Easily gets through chainmail, but has difficulty penetrating plate armor.

-Aruval: Iron sword with a slightly hooked blade. Very similar to the Olympian Kopis.

-Shareeravadi: A long wooden shaft with an iron tip. Used for stabbing and dismounting.

-Trishula: A long wooden spear with three iron tips. Similar to the Olympian trident.
