Holly

Holly, known from birth as Gorgo Gualtera, was born in the Argentolian city of Dorylaeum on the planet Aurea 20 years before Rhys invaded Aurea. Her father, a fugitive under the alias of "John Harrison", soon noticed Gorgo's genius IQ and decided to train her in his old criminal ways. He trained Gorgo to be a tool of revenge on the Aurean and Ishga Governments, and when she was only 11, he sent her to Caput Tatiium to join The Cabal, an organization he heard about while in prison that was dedicated to overthrowing the corrupt Ishga Government among other things. On Caput Tatiium, she was enrolled in The Cabal's training camp, where after surviving the hellish first week meant to weed out the weak, she was put into the Assassins' Academy. Gorgo thrived there and was #1 in her academy. 3 years later, she took and passed her graduation test 3 years early, and this test was to go to Ishga and take out a government official. During the trip to Ishga, she adopted the pseudonym "Holly" to disguise her obvious Aurean heritage.

The success of this assassination earned Gorgo recognition from Tate himself, and when she was brought to Tate, he was impressed with her high magic potential and decided to train her himself. On the side, Tate also bent the rules of his own training camp by having Gorgo enter the Spy Academy under the guise of "Holly". As Tate predicted, Holly mastered Astral Magic before long, and became a master of all 7 forms of melee combat, though she preferred Form 7 over the others. Holly also had another valuable ability: she could do accents and impressions almost flawlessly. Since she came from Aurea, she could speak both Aurean and Galactic Basic fluently. Due to these gifts, Tate thought that she would do best living a triple life: she would be a Tatian sleeper agent on the planets of Ishga and Aurea. As a result, she developed three identities: on Ishga, she lived a life as an "ordinary citizen" under the fake name Casee Loudermilk, and on Aurea, she would join the Aurean military her real name Gorgo Gualtera. As the years went by, Holly showed extreme talent leading troops in battle, pulling off maneuvers that baffled the other Aurean generals. Before long, King Gavicus XXIX of Aurea appointed her Magister Equitum.

Some time later, Tate began to lay the foundations of his plan to take over the galaxy. Having already set up the massive pyramid scheme/criminal enterprise known as UniSyn, he used some of the money from that to create a massive private army in the Ishga underworld known as DefenseCorp. He then had another Cabal member, Santa Muerte, use Shadow Magic to plant nightmares into the dreams of Emma (The Ishga Foreign Minister) to convince her to go against the Ishga Government's orders and ask DefenseCorp to produce a standing army for Ishga. Once Emma finally caved and did this, Tate sent Holly (under her "Casee Loudermilk" alias" to assassinate Emma to prevent information about this secret army from being leaked to the Ishga Government. Holly did exactly what she was asked and followed Emma home and killed her one night, manipulating the crime scene to make it look like a suicide.

Three years later, Tate learns that the Key to the Jungle, an artifact immensely important to his plans, is hidden on Aurea. Since he knows no private army he could put together (aside from DefenseCorp, which he was saving for later plans) could overpower Aurea's entire military, he gave Holly orders to create chaos on the planet by assassinating King Gavicus XXIX of Aurea. Once Gavicus was dead, his inexperienced heir Weasel was placed on the throne. Seizing this golden opportunity, Tate sent Rhys with a private army to invade Aurea and seize the Key to the Jungle. However, Weasel proved much more competent than Tate anticipated, and Rhys was defeated and killed in a matter of months.

Meanwhile, Holly, continuing to pose as "Gorgo Gualtera", was tasked with earning Weasel's trust and trying to get more and more control of Aurea's military without Weasel ever suspecting a thing. A year after Rhys's death, Tate sent 3 more of his warlords--Lane, Ombra, and Whelan--to Aurea to secure the Key to the Jungle. Holly continued to lead Weasel's Army, even against those she was actually helping, just to gain more of Weasel's trust. Although Ombra and Whelan were defeated, Lane eventually escaped Aurea and returned to Tate with the Key to the Jungle. After this, a long chain of events ensued where Weasel and his friends were repeatedly leaving the planet for months at a time to deal with problems Tate was causing across the entire South Galaxy. At the end of the last of these incidents, Tate had finally decided it was time to begin putting his grand plan into motion. Tate and the massive empire The Cabal had accumulated declared war on Aurea and Ishga. As instructed by Tate, Holly attended all the war meetings and proposed two radical ideas. The first of these was that the Ishga Military should employ DefenseCorp's huge armies to fight against the Tatians in the first part of the war. The second of these was that Ishga should transfer the responsibilities of administering both this huge new army and its massive empire to Aurea while Ishga focused on getting its own forces up to scratch so they could eventually replace DefenseCorp. Both of these ideas were agreed to almost instantly due to the Ishgas' and Aureans' state of immense panic at the time.

Since Holly was already the Commander of all Aurean Armed Forces and Weasel's most trusted general (apart from perhaps Taftenkhamun), she was given command of all of the new DefenseCorp forces. Since this DefenseCorp Army had no pre-existing loyalties to any nation, Holly was free to mold it however she wanted, including installing a top-secret mission called "Operation Curtain" in their training protocol. This mission said "When this mission is activated, then that means the Aurean people desire change and have chosen to become part of the Tatian Empire. Weasel and all of the old Aurean leaders and officials still loyal to the old order are now enemies of the state, and must be removed with lethal force immediately. From now on, you only answer to Gorgo Eurynome, Holly, and Emperor Tate." Now all Holly had to do was wait until Tate was ready.

Soon after this, Weasel and his friends had another off-planet mission. They needed to go to the Planet of Awal Kabab to find a Shadow Artifact called the Lamp of Luxury before Tate did. However, this was a trap set by Tate. The "Lamp of Luxury" was not a Shadow Artifact at all, but was just an ordinary genie lamp that Tate had secretly provided Aurean Intelligence with false information about. As a result, Weasel and his friends were off-planet with most of Aurea's garrison. However, before embarking on this mission, Weasel had begun to grow suspicious of "Gorgo Eurynome's" growing power over his army, and had left behind two of his friends to keep tabs on her: Felipe de Buenhombre and Garrett. Spying on "Gorgo's" activities, the two soon caught onto what she was doing and cornered her in her office, declaring that she was under arrest for treason. With no other options, Holly drew her sword and fought back. Her complete and total mastery of Form VII of melee combat allowed her to kill even the highly experienced Felipe within seconds, and duel Garrett, possibly the best duelist in Weasel's group of friends, to a standstill, even holding a slight advantage over him. However, before setting out to arrest Holly, Garrett and Felipe had alerted Weasel, and Weasel was on his way to Aurea as soon as the events on Awal Kabab were finished. However, Tate was also on his way to Aurea in order to fulfill the final step of his grand plan, and it was Tate who arrived first. As Holly dueled Garrett, Tate hijacked the Aurean Government's media channel and began his proclamation of a new order as Weasel raced to Holly's office.

Just as Holly sliced Garrett in half and killed him, Weasel entered the room. The two fought, again almost to a draw, but this time Weasel held the slight advantage. Within a few minutes, Weasel had disarmed Holly and was about to kill her when Tate walked in and used Shadow Magic to push Weasel out the window. With Weasel out of the way for the time being, Holly turned on her transmitter and told the entire Aurean-Ishga Military to begin Operation Curtain. Although Weasel's friends were still on Awal Kabab with a large detachment of troops, only Olivia and Drew were killed. However, after the rest of Weasel's friends escaped Awal Kabab, Holly ordered the rest of the troops back to Aurea to search for, find, and kill Weasel. In the meantime, Tate had gone to Weasel's Palace, where he crowned himself Emperor of the South Galaxy.

Before long, Weasel had followed Tate to the former's old palace in a last-ditch effort to save Aurea from Tate. Since Tate had decided to shoot heroin to feed his addiction as soon as he got to the palace, Weasel was able to fight the high and disoriented Tate almost evenly. However, as Tate came down from his high, Weasel found himself increasingly unable to keep up with Tate and had to flee the scene before he could be killed. Weasel managed to escape the planet of Aurea just as the reinforcements Holly had called for were beginning to arrive, much to her frustration. Weasel would briefly meet up with all of his friends who had just escaped Awal Kabab before going into hiding for the next 19 years.

Meanwhile, Tate made Aurea the capital of his empire, and as a reward for her efforts, made Holly governor. At first, Holly was quite popular with the people, who were quite happy with her policy of ending the policy of serfdom that Weasel had wanted to end (but never quite got around to doing). However, Holly and Tate tried to industrialize the planet much too quickly, and as a result, Aurea was hit with repeated famines. As a result, many Aureans became deeply unhappy with Holly's governorship and Tatian rule in general, and longed for the return of Weasel. Soon, an open rebellion started on Aurea, and this rebellion soon turned into a full-scale revolution. Holly would govern Aurea through this turbulent time, until 19 years into her governorship, she was cornered once again in her office by a revolutionary leader named Logan and a returning Weasel. No match for two of the galaxy's most experienced duelists at once, Holly did her best to fight back, but was eventually killed.
