Nate was born in Tenochtitlan on Aztlan 17 years before Rhys invaded Aurea. He had a relatively uneventful childhood, except for the fact that he was highly skilled with a macuahuitl and atlatl. When he was fourteen years old, however, Santa Muerte attacked his city. Nate attempted to help defend it, but was forced to retreat to Mangrove Marsh while Tenochtitlan burned and his parents were killed. He hid behind Tula Gate, evading Santa Muerte's army long enough for him to build a spaceship and escape to Aurea, where he later met Maxwell, Garett, and Fundisa Ironhoof. Soon after, Weasel and Ryan arrived in their apartment and recruited them to help fight Rhys. A year after Rhys was defeated, Nate helped Weasel and his friends defeat Lord Ombra and Lord Whelan. Four months later, he went with them to Planet Squid, where he helped them against Tate and Jermie. Next, he went with them back to Aztlan. On Aztlan, they failed to stop Tate from stealing the Lords of Xibalba and destroying the planet. Nate lost his home, what was left of his family, his entire culture, and his entire species there. After Aztlan, Nate took a while to emotionally recuperate before he went with Weasel and his friends to Ryu 108, where he famously knocked out the serpent Jörmungandr with the Hammer of Thor. Next, he went with them to Awal Kabab, where he helped them fight against Tate and Xerxes. However, the events of Awal Kabab were a mere distraction used by Tate to allow him to take over Aurea and force Weasel into exile. After Weasel left, Nate took it upon himself to revisit what was left of Aztlan and see what could be salvaged. From the ruins, he built a base that would become New Aztlan. He found a group of surviving Aztecosaurs deep in the Cenote, some surviving Pterodactyls inside the Twin Giants, and some Avians deep in Cloudburst Forest. He took these remnants of Aztlanian society and told them it was their job to rebuild the lost society and culture. Soon, the base of New Aztlan joined Ryan's Aurean Alliance and assisted the war effort against Tate. A while later, Nate goes with Ryan and a few of Weasel's old friends to Arturia, where there are reports that Weasel may still be alive. After a long and convoluted chain of events resulting in Nate pulling the Sword of Caliber out of a rock in Castle Arturia, they are forced to face The Pendragon. After the group is nearly defeated by the beast, Nate catches the beast off-guard and decapitates it. The beast then transforms into Weasel and King Arturius, who were transformed into The Pendragon as part of a dark spell put on them by the Horned Crown. After that, Nate went with Weasel and his friends to liberate Vigam, after which Aurea was finally freed as well. After this, Nate goes with Weasel and his friends to Atlantea to figure out what Tate is up to. After a long chain of events, Tate eventually gets his hands on the Atlantean Tomes, which tell him that to fulfill his ultimate goal of rewriting The Galaxy, he must go to Olympia and kidnap The Gods. While Nate originally wishes to go with Weasel and his friends to Olympia, Nate instead is assigned to Ryu 108, where he defends the planet against a Tatian raid. Once the Tatians there are defeated, he returns to the war council on Aurea, where he votes for the Squidian Brigade to go on a mission to Atlantea to steal the Atlantean Tomes. However, the mission blows up in his face, as while the Aureans manage to steal the Atlantean Tomes, the entire Squidian Brigade is annihilated by the T-Ray and a large portion of the Aurean Fleet is destroyed in the ensuing battle. After this disaster, Weasel and Taftenkhamun follow the Atlantean Tomes' directions to Rahasy while Nate goes to the base on New Aztlan to conduct air raids on the nearby Tatian-held Planet Lard, which is soon after destroyed by The Poston Plant. Nate and his New Aztlanian Air Fleet try to fight The Poston Plant in space, but they are forced to retreat after losing almost half their planes. After this, Nate accompanied the rest of Weasel's friends to Ryu 97 after hearing reports that Tate would soon be launching an all-out attack on the planet. During the final battle on the planet, Weasel joins Nate and his friends in The Spirit Realm and unleashes an onslaught of Shadow Magic on the opposing forces, causing them to retreat. Since Weasel was technically dead with his body on Eaglypt, Weasel had to return to Eaglypt in the Physical Realm before being revived by Hathor. Once Weasel was alive and back from Eaglypt, Nate went with him and his friends to Caput Tatiium for the final battle, during which Nate helped weaken Tate with his atlatl. Not much is known about Nate's life after the war except that he returned to New Aztlan and dedicated the rest of his life to rebuilding his society and culture. He later had a son named Xochitl, who in turn had two sons named Teoxihuitl and Nochtli along with a daughter named Centehua. A few months after the last of these grandchildren were born, Nate died of heart failure at age 77.
