Jesus Christ is the Same . . .

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8

Praise God that we can rest assured in these words that the Jesus that we know and love from scripture is the the same Jesus Christ today and will be the same Jesus Christ tomorrow and forever! The qualities of Jesus that we see displayed in scriptures are the same qualities that he possesses today. And just like his Father before him, he never changes.

Thank you , Lord Jesus, that you never change. The Jesus Christ of scripture is the same today, tomorrow and forever. You are the same compassionate savior who reached out to the hurting and you will continue to do so. You are faithful. I can trust you. You will always be there for me. For all of these things and so much more I thank you. While you never change, I know that I need to change. Change me, dear Lord, into your image. Make me faithful and trustworthy and compassionate like you. Amen

      His faithfulness to us is the same
      yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus Christ never changes.
      His grace toward us is the same
      yesterday, today and forever.

 Jesus Christ never changes.
        His love for us is the same
        yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus Christ never changes.
        He is the same
        yesterday, today and forever.
