Joy In Your Presence

"You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasure at your right hand."Psalm 16:11

Once we have found the path of life, the path that leads us to Christ, the path that leads us toward our heavenly home, our walk on this earth becomes a journey of joy! For indeed, there is joy in the Father’s presence and eternal pleasure to be at His right hand. We have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light. We are no longer walking that downward spiral to death, but our journey has taken a turn toward heaven. We, indeed, have cause for rejoicing! Jehovah has replaced death with life. We are no longer orphans, but sons and daughters of the King. We have a Bridegroom who not only died for us, but is waiting to share with us His heavenly home. As we journey through life, let us fix our eyes heavenward. Let us never lose sight of the glory that will be ours when we arrive at our destination. Let us follow the example of Jesus, our Heavenly Bridegroom, "who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning the shame and is now set down at the right hand of God..." Hebrews 12:2 Let the joy of our present standing with God and the joy of what is yet to come so move us that we run up that pathway of life, that we might enter our heavenly home and know the fullness of His JOY!

Father, thank You for turning our lives around. You have taken us from the downward spiral that leads to death and are guiding us heavenward. I wish to live in Your presence, Lord, for it is there that I can learn to have joy in all of life’s experiences. I wish to live a life of joy. Use me to bring others to You as they see how You have transformed my life. Amen
