Exam questions (U4 & 5). Trigonometry

  1. Convert radians to degrees and viceversa.
  2. Solve one triangle given three of its elements (word problem).
  3. Find out the trigonometric ratios of one angle α in the unit circle, given one of the trigonometric ratios of α or of other angle related to it. (90 - α, 180 - α, 180 + α, -α ...).
  4. Prove a trigonometric identity.
  5. Solve a trigonometric equation.
  6. Simplify a trigonometric expression.
  7. A funny, different, new, word problem.

Legal Cheat Sheet

For this exam it will be authorized a legal cheat sheet, acording to the following terms and conditions:

  • The size must be Din A6 (1/4 of a normal A4 sheet of paper).
  • It must be handwritten with a pen or a marker on one side of the paper only.
  • It can contains any formula, drawing, expression or example from units 4 and 5, except for sin²x + cos²x = 1 and sin(a+b) = sinacosb + cosasinb
  • The student will write his/her name on the cheat sheet and it will be attached to the exam.
  • Any cheat sheet not following this rules will be consider illegal and treated as a "normal" cheat sheet, acording to our school rules.
