Linear perspective

1. The subject of my creation is that I made a piece of artwork that shows the interior of a room that has chairs, a couch, windows/paintings, floor tiles, table, lights, shelf and a ceiling beam. The setting is the interior of a living room that is in a house. I made the work by first drawing the rectangle then I made the floor and ceiling tiles/frames, then I made all the furniture and other necessary things that we had to add to my drawing. I chose to create this because I thought it would be cool if I could create a room of a house so then I would know how to do it for the future. In my artwork I used lines to show the outline of the rooms and the furniture. I also used balance in my art to make all the furniture evenly placed.

2. In my art I used leading lines to focus the main point in the center. My project evolved because I had to make the rectangle then I added all of the furniture. After everything was done I still had a lot of lines that I needed to erase.

3. The meaning of my art is that I created something that can be used for many things like a jobs and designs. The story is that this project is important because I thought it was cool and different that all of our other projects. This project relates to my life because if I want to get a job where you have to make designs like this then I would know how to create it. I think that I can improve my artwork because my lines are really light, so I would darken my lines. I would also add some color to make it look more presentable.
