A parrots bright primary colors show a more abstract piece. I was trying to determine how I could express feathers (an important aspect of birds features) and choose a bird with bright colors. I choose a parrot because it has very distinct colors and feather patters

The work was made by using colored pencil on drawing paper. I first researched their patterns and experimented with which features of the parrot I wanted to focus in on.
