We Support Everyone

7"x9"

The subject of my creation is showing how kids in a classroom with disabilities are coming together. I chose to create this because I wanted show how people can come together with disabilities and including everyone. I wanted to show acyclic because it's bright and I wanted people to be drawn to my artwork.

I made this piece by first drawing by first drawing everything with a HB pencil, then going back in with acrylic paint and water color over the pencil marks. I had to keep going over the water color because is was uneven, some parts were darker than others.

Throughout this project, I used color and line by using many colors to represent the positive message being spread, while also using darker tones to break up the message. There is a clear contrast between the colors I chose, to show what organ and tissue donation will do for someone else. Before I started I was thinking about doing a puzzle, representing different ways how organ and tissue donation affects others, but instead I chose to do a hero theme, making my message more clear. My next step in this project would be to continue to work on blending the blue because it was hard to get around the letters.
