Extra Credit Movie Poster

Choose one of the following assignments for extra credit:

1. Read the article here and create a movie poster for Silas Marner, based on the information in the article. In addition, you must write a one-page description of your poster, referencing the seven elements discussed in the article.

Your poster should include:

1. Names of the actors you will choose for the main roles.

2. One sentence summarizing the themes of the novel.

Example: "The story of how one alienated man regains his faith in the human family."

3. A significant quote from the novel

4. Images that reflect an understanding of the novel, its themes and its symbols.

The assignment is due our first day back to class. No exceptions!! I will not be answering class related emails during the break. If you have questions, you need to figure out the answers yourself. (Smiley face)
