Common Core Unit

How can we understand love? How does the Church explain love? How does science explain love? How do these various interpretations help us to understand The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet? This unit will help students gain a wider understanding of the young lovers and why they behave in often irrational ways.

Through reading a diverse array of classic and contemporary literature as well as challenging informational texts in a range of subjects, students are expected to build knowledge, gain insights, explore possibilities, and broaden their perspective.
