Theme park admission
Theme parks are too crowded and overbooked
How about admitting that theme parks have capacity limits and living within them
Ground Rules
1) Limit the number of people who visit the park any given day
2) Auction off the ticket to the highest bidder
3) Sell tickets for whole weeks to give people consecutive days at the park. I know that there are days people don't want to attend. News flash! The park stays open those days and someone has to pay for those unpopular days
4) After a delay, of perhaps one hour, allow locals to purchase unused daily passes at a discount
Yes, this will cost more. Yes, fewer people will be allowed in. However, the people allowed in will have a premium experience (IE won't be mobbed). This will also encourage people to stay the week and take their time. It might also help to rent hotel rooms on the same weekly basis
