Confederate Revival

Over two centuries ago, the US fought a war to separate itself from the British. Almost nine decades later, the US fought a war to keep The Confederacy in The United States. This flip fop should be the definition of hypocrisy or at least of irony.

It's time to admit that the Confederacy will never be part of the US. It's time that we peacefully parted ways. It's time that the US declared itself interdependent from the Confederacy

Now, I know that the divide of the US is not along the Mason Dixon line, but the urban/rural line. However, The Confederacy would provide a homeland to Confederate loyalists who feel oppressed by The American Federal Government and the liberal half of America that they represent. As for those Confederates who don't live in The Confederacy, there is an old saying.

"America, love it or leave it"
