Presidential Qualifications

I'm sure that the found fathers would disagree with me, but I think that candidates should have to meet basic qualifications to become president:

Ground Rules

1) Served at least four years in a comparable office in good standing (never removed from office). I define comparable as the chief executive of a government of a population not less than the population of the District of Colombia. That's what I call job experience.

2) Licensed to practice law. You want to build a house, you hire licensed carpenters, plumbers and electricians. You want to write laws, you hire lawyers

3) Never exceed the country's average life expectancy. Professional pilots retire at age 65, but that would conflict with the requirement for relevant job experience.
