Children born in the US to illegal aliens are forever eligible to apply for citizenship or permanent residency or a work permit, depending on what the child or the parent choses. On good behavior, they will be guaranteed a spot in our immigration quotas. The status or criminal record of the parents cannot be held against the applications of an American born child. The fact that the child has lived in the US before their eighteenth birthday shall not be held against the application of a child born in US territories
