All state Supreme Court

The eternal question of the Supreme Court is “Will the court represent my interests“. What if each state was represented by its own justice. Then each citizen would, to a certain degree, be represented. Our, would you prefer being represented by your county 😉

Ground Rules

Judges are chosen by sorting each State’s Supreme Court by ideology and picking the judge in the physical middle

Judges would not be vetted or confirmed, that is the prerogative of the states

The vote of each Supreme Court justices would be weighted by their state’s population

Congress can only impeach the Supreme Court in its entirety. Therefore, congress cannot cherry-pick the Supreme Court

Judges of the supreme court can be expelled by the Supreme Court or by their state’s legislators

Of course, we should have term limits of twelves years

When States have two Supreme Courts, a new judge will be chosen from the civil court

As is the tradition, the votes to expel a judge are by 2/3rd majority
