OFFERTORIES – Thanks for your generosity during this Christmas season

FOOD BANKS – Some interest has been expressed recently. Tesco's organised a Neighbourhood Food Collection last month and donated to Trussell Trust and Fareshare local food depots, Tesco's then top up by 30%, these will be a regular occurance. In addition there is the Bay Foodbank at North Shields, the Wansbeck Foodbank at Ashington and St. Nicholas Church in Cramlngton. Demand has doubled in the last year. Should you wish to donate, please do so via Tesco or leave at the back of church and we will deliver to St. Nicholas church in Cramlington.

COFFEE AFTERNOON – The next coffee afternoon will be held on Thursday 15^th Jan. 2015 at 1.30pm. All are welcome. Anyone requiring transport please leave your name & tel. no. on the sheet at the back of church.

BAPTISM OF THE LORD – Sunday 11^th January 2015. We will again be sending out invites to this Mass to all who were baptised at St. John's in 2014. John the Baptist baptised Jesus. If you know anyone who would like to attend mass on this closing feast of Christmas, please invite them along.

MASS OFFERINGS – Mass offerings (Intentions) are not too far in advance now. Please use the envelopes available at the back of church. If you want a mass offered on a specific date, please give your telephone number on the envelope just in case your required date is not available. Weekend Masses are further in advance.

POLITE REQUEST – Mentioned to the Parish Council. When visiting the Sacristy, please use the passage to the left of Our Lady's Altar, please do not walk across the main Altar. Thank You.

CONFIRMATIONS – will take place at St. Paul's, Cramlington on Thursday 14^th May 2015, this celebration is available to St. John's parishioners. Criteria – must be year 9 and above. Please contact Rob Wareing. 07939 140966
