NEW PARISHIONERS - If you are a new member of the parish, would you please make yourself known to Fr. Harriott or a member of the Parish Council and complete a form available at the back of church.

PLANNED GIVING – Next financial year's envelopes will be distributed soon. If you do not currently receive any and wish to do so, please put your name on the list at the back of church.

PARISH COUNCIL – There will be a meeting today in the Presbytery following the 9.30am Mass

ST. CUTHBERT'S CARE – During Lent the Box in the Floor of the porch will receive donations for SCC.

LENTEN PREPARATION – Kathleen Dawson will be leading a Lenten reflection based on the Gospel, these will take place every Wed during Lent at 2.30pm in the Hall. Anyone requiring transport, please contact Kathleen on 0191 2667775. Lenten Reflections also at St. Paul's at 7pm every Tuesday during Lent. Lenten lunches 12 noon at Doxford Methodist Church every

Wed. during Lent. Soup is provided each week.

YEAR OF MERCY – On the back of the bulletin is information for all parishioners, especially young families, to get involved in planned activities. Please read and contact Kathryn Maggs 07540 065414 or Jerry Laidler.

COFFEE AFTERNOONS – The next two Coffee Afternoons will be held on Thursday 14th Apr. 2016 and Thursday 12th May 2016 at 1.30pm. These are open to ALL, Please come along.

TEA & COFFEE – Tea and coffee will be available in the hall after Mass on Sundays.

CHURCH CLEANING – The parish has a church cleaning team who clean the church on the first Monday of every month. Anyone wishing to volunteer should contact Paddy Davidson on 01670 734144.

CHOIR PRACTICE – The choir meet on a Monday evening at 7.30pm to practice the music for the following Sunday 9.30am Mass. Anyone interested would be welcome to come along.

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR - Box at the back of church to receive old stamps, old & foreign coins to help with their ministry in St. Joseph's Home.

PLANTS – When ordering/buying plants for your garden, please consider purchasing a few more for the church grounds. They would be gratefully appreciated by Rose, one of our garden volunteers.
