NEW PARISHIONERS - If you are a new member of the parish, would you please make yourself known to Fr. Harriott or a member of the Parish Council and complete a form available at the back of church.

PARISH COFFEE AFTERNOON – The Parish Council has decided to hold the first afternoon on Thursday 12^th Dec. 2014 at 1.30pm. Please feel free to come along. Transport can be provided. Add your name to the list at the back of church, also the name of anyone housebound who would wish to attend.

THE SOURCE MONTHLY YOUTH EVENT - is to be held at St. Mary’s Cathedral on Wednesday 3^rd December between 7-8.30pm.It will be a great night for young people over the age of 13.Refreshments and time to socialise afterwards. Anyone interested, please contact Kathryn Maggs 07540 0065414, transport can be arranged. See Notice Board.

FORWARD TOGETHER IN HOPE – CALLING THE DIOCESE TO PRAYER – A Day of Reflection for Clergy and Laity with Bishop Seamus. 2^nd December at St. Mary's Cathedral. Please see notice board for details. Also leaflets available at the back of church providing further information.

CHLOE BEANEY – A young girl from St. Paul's parish is very poorly in intensive care, please keep her in your prayers.

UPDATE - Chloe had a heart transplant Thursday and all appears to have been successful - our prayers are with her and her family.

CONFIRMATIONS – will take place at St. Paul's, Cramlington on Thursday 14^th May 2015, this celebration is available to St. John's parishioners. Criteria – must be year 9 and above. Please contact Rob Wareing.

HEXHAM & NEWCASTLE DIOCESE PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND - 12th – 19th October 2015 Cost £1295 per person (based on two sharing twin accommodation)

PILGRIMAGE TO GOZO – St. Paul's are organising this 4-11^th June 2015 staying at the Jesuit Retreat Centre. Open to the deanery. £500 includes flights, transfers, half board. Anyone interested contact Graham at St. Paul's.

CHRISTMAS FLASH MOB - 20th Dec. at 11am at Newcastle Central Station (simply turn up just before 11) also 20th Dec. at 1:30pm in Hartlepool at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre . SCHOOL ADVENT CAMPAIGN – The schools are sending out on our behalf, invite to all parents to celebrate mass during the season of Advent. There is also an invite on the back of this newsletter, please pass on to those you think would come to mass during this joyous season.
