A retiring collection will be taken today Sunday 24^th November to support the work of Catholic Youth.

Today (24^th November 2019) is the final day for donations to the Clergy Training Fund. Envelopes are available at the back of church.

ADVENT ALMS – The box in the porch is there to receive your donations to help fund the upkeep of

St. Catherine’s Care Home in Newcastle. They care for the elderly and infirm of our Diocese.

CHRISTMAS SHOE BOX APPEAL – Thanks to everyone who provided a box, they will make Christmas special for children all over the world. A total of 37 boxes were received. Thanks to all who donated.

CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHS – As discussed at the Parish Council meeting last Sunday, A reminder to all who publise photos of St. John's children on Social Media, or in the Press that they must have written permission of ALL the children's parents/guardians in the photograph before submitting it.

COFFEE AFTERNOONS – The next two Coffee Afternoons will be on Thurs. 12^th Dec. & 9^th Jan. 2020 at 1.30pm. These are open to ALL, not just parishioners, Please come along and invite a friend and/or your neighbour.

CHRISTMAS CAKE RAFFLE – Janet Memola will be selling tickets on Sundays 1st & 8^th December with the draw after Mass on Sunday15th December. Proceeds to provide flowers for the Chrismas Altar.

WALK WITH ME ADVENT BOOKLETS – On Sale at the back of church – Cost £1.00

CHRISTMAS GIFTS – Are you struggling to think of a present for someone. Why not make a donation on their behalf to CAFOD World Gifts. Please pick up a catologue from the back of church
