MASSES

FAMILY FAST DAY COLLECTION - £ 329.95

FAMILY FAST DAY – The collection remains open today to receive any late offerings from Family Fast Day held Friday 19th February. Envelopes for donations are available at the back of church.

ST. CUTHBERT'S CARE – During Lent the Box in the Floor of the porch will receive donations for SCC.

BAPTISM – Please remember in your prayers Luca Alexander Dixon who will be baptised Sat. 5th Mar.

LENTEN PREPARATION – Kathleen Dawson will be leading a Lenten reflection based on the Gospel, these will take place every Wed during Lent at 2.30pm in the Hall. Anyone requiring transport, please contact Kathleen on 0191 2667775. Lenten Reflections also at St. Paul's at 7pm every Tuesday during Lent. Lenten lunches 12 noon at Doxford Methodist Church every Wed. during Lent. Soup is provided each week.

YEAR OF MERCY – On the back of the bulletin is information for all parishioners, especially young families, to get involved in planned activities. Please read and contact Kathryn Maggs 07540 065414 or Jerry Laidler.

COFFEE AFTERNOONS – The next two Coffee Afternoons will be held on Thursday 10th Mar. 2016 and Thursday 14th Apr. 2016 at 1.30pm. These are open to ALL, Please come along.

TEA & COFFEE – Tea and coffee will be available in the hall after Mass on Sundays.

CHURCH CLEANING – The parish has a church cleaning team who clean the church on the first Monday of every month. Anyone wishing to volunteer should contact Paddy Davidson on 01670 734144.

CHOIR PRACTICE – The choir meet on a Monday evening at 7.30pm to practice the music for the following Sunday 9.30am Mass. Anyone interested would be welcome to come along.

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR - Box at the back of church to receive old stamps, old & foreign coins to help with their ministry in St. Joseph's Home.

RED MISSION BOXES – Parishioners raised the magnificent sum of £1391.49 last year.
