Youth Sunday 2016 - Feast of Christ the King

Well done to all our young people who played an active part in our Youth Sunday celebrations this morning.
It is Pope Francis wish that we not only seek Mercy, but also give Mercy and it is appropriate that this year’s Youth Sunday theme is “He is Mercy”.
“… Youth Sunday reminds us of our young people who journey with us in faith and who are a much-needed part of our church. They and their families are very much part of our community and we are asked today to reflect on how we can best welcome them and encourage their gifts so that in partnership we can journey together in faith, hope and above all, mercy …”
