Purple Ribbon Lapel Pins for Lent ...
A very simple and easy idea ... get some strips of ribbon and make them into a loop.
Fasten with a small safety pin or your lapel cross – the end result is a lapel pin.
Parishioners can make their own or you could make a batch of them and have them blessed at mass on Ash Wednesday and distributed to everyone.
The idea is so that parishioners wear them for the season of lent on their lapels.
Lenten Calendar ...
During the season of Lent, parishioners use a "Lenten Prayer Calendar" so we all pray for a few moments about the same "topic".

Lenten Invitation 4 u ...
During the seasons of Lent and Advent we put an invite on the back of the bulletin that can be folded in to a small invite for each parishioner to “pass on” to a family member, friend or neighbour.
It is a small way of spreading the “#GoodNews+” using the whole congregation.
Christianise Your Easter Eggs ...
We created some “small tags” that parishioners can attach and “Christianise” their Easter eggs as a way of reminding us that Easter is about the risen Christ.
It’s a simple idea that all parishioners can use as they buy their Easter eggs for their children or grandchildren.
The feedback from this is very positive as parishioners like the way they are involved in spreading the #GoodNews+ and “reclaiming” Easter in a Christian context.
White Ribbon & Lapel Crosses ...
Some parishioners asked about how we can build on the Purple Ribbons that we have all been wearing during the season of Lent now that the season of Eastertide is up on us.
One suggestion is to exchange the purple ribbon, which represented the cross of Jesus, and replace it with a white ribbon band which represents the risen Christ.
Parishioners wear these ribbons on their lapels until Pentecost.
