Fr Jim O'Keefe speaks openly about 4ward-2gether – worth a listen (click in the picture).

The points that caught my attention are:

• • Prayer – “a risky business is prayer [Fr. Jim]” to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us

  • Discipleship – How we work as a community – not just catholic, but with other faiths

  • Outreach – Missionary evangelisation = how we use our gifts positively, imaginatively and creatively – using our “talents” as a whole to serve the community

  • Viability - What variety of worship do we use - How viable is the community we belong to - how do we worship and what is the variety of that worship

  • Flourishing – As that is our main aim – to flourish J

  • Diocese – “We do it all together” – were in it together

The deadline for all this is 9am on 7^th July 2017 which is the Bishops 75^th Birthday.

Let’s hope the letter he has to send to the Pope on his 75^th birthday is full of hope J
