FIRST AIDERS – An update training session has been organised for Backworth Choir & St. John's First Aiders for Thursday 8^th August 2019 from 12 noon to 3.30pm in the Confederation Room.

PARISH BBQ – Will be held this Saturday 10^th August starting at 3pm. Please collect your tickets £5 for adults and £4 for children this weekend from Jan & Angie Memola. There are 9 tickets left if anyone still requires one.

PDG MINUTES – These are now publicised on the Partnership Facebook page and on the Sacred Heart's website.

DATA PROTECTION – It is hoped to arrange a meeting with the Diocese representative pm on Friday 6^th September. Anyone holding data on behalf of the Parish is invited to attend. Time agreed with the diocese to be to be confirmed later.

JUSTICE AND PEACE – Please see the poster in the porch giving details of a talk at the Sacred Heart to be given by Shirley Mansfield (a doctor) about her personal experiences working with refugees in Greece

MASS OFFERINGS – Please use the Mass offering envelopes at the back of church and provide a tel. no. just in case your preferred date is not available. Weekday Masses are not too far in advance.

COFFEE AFTERNOONS – The next two Coffee Afternoons will be onThurs. 12^th Sept & 10^th Oct. 2019 at 1.30pm. These are open to ALL, not just parishioners, Please come along and invite a friend and/or your neighbour.
