It has been agreed by the partnership spirituality team that our young people should be given a voice within the partnership. A structure will be set up to enable the development and implementation of a partnership vision for youth ministry. This will address the needs of young people and how we as a partnership can respond and allow them to share their unique gifts with us. Fr Lee will facilitate a meeting consisting of both Youth Co-workers and Young people school year 7 and above (12+ years) from across the partnership on Wednesday 11th October 2017 6pm @ St Pauls. Sunday 8th October – Diocesan YMT – Youth Sunday Preparation Meeting

On Sunday 8th October (3-5;15pm), a meeting will take place at St. Joseph’s School to help parishes to prepare for Youth Sunday. This year’s Youth Sunday is on 26th November, the Feast of Christ the King. The theme is ‘YES’ and invites us to reflect on Mary’s ‘Yes’ to what God was calling her to do. In his 2017 World Youth Day message, Pope Francis challenges young people to follow in the footsteps of Mary who, as a young person, had the faith and courage to say ‘Yes’ knowing that she could be confident in trusting God with her life whatever the obstacles.
