Diocesan Festival – 24th & 25th June

This year’s festival takes place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June at the Emmaus Youth Village. Come and experience this event which offers an inspiring programme for adults, young people and children.

As we move into new partnerships in our Diocese and face the joys and challenges of being a disciple of Jesus in a changing world, the festival offers us a chance to reflect and to be inspired. This year’s theme is ‘Changing Hearts: The Challenge of Discipleship’. Clare Dixon will speak about the life of Oscar Romero, whose centenary we celebrate this year. RISE Theatre will present a drama about this martyr of our own times. There will be talks from David Wells and Sr Judith Russi. The programme also includes prayer, liturgy, discussion, music and time to relax.
