Further Details on CAFOD’s Pilgrimage:
This year’s pilgrimage is part of CAFOD’s ‘Power To Be’ campaign, which will be launched in Parliament on 24th April, and runs throughout 2017. The ‘Power To Be’ campaign is seeking to ensure that the World Bank will increase its spending on local renewable energy to bring power to some of the poorest people in the world. From 1st to 9th July there is the Climate Coalition Speak Up Week of Action and we’re asking as many of you as possible to hold Speak up events during this week with your MP or, hold a card signing event in your parish or parish partnership. St. John’s will be inviting CAFOD to have a stall at our Garden Party on the 9th July – more details to follow.
